If you want to learn to surf for the first time, or improve your existing surf skills, our courses offer you the best in professional instruction, fantastic locations and endless opportunities to surf the perfect wave!
Based in the Dominican Republic, this course is ideal for beginner or intermediate surfers who want to develop their skills and confidence on the water. Living in Cabarete, a beach paradise and hotspot for international surfers and kitesurfers, you will work on your technique with the guidance of expert surf instructors.
An initial assessment and tailormade coaching programme will ensure rapid progress throughout your time in Cabarete and you will leave with new skills, new friends, and a new found confidence on the water. Depending on your ability, a number of key skills will be taught or revised, including duck diving, short board paddle techniques, wave selection, safety and priority rules, carving, cutbacks, and front side and back side surfing.
Courses last from 1-6 weeks so this trip could form part of a long adventure holiday in the Caribbean, or start off your gap year or career break in style!
