Program description: |
|
|
Teachers are needed near Colombo and Kandy at government schools, orphanages, open prisons, a community centre and a Buddhist monks' academy. Teach English to adults and children, play games, debate and role play. There are also sports, drama, music and informal evening lessons. Enjoy meals with your host family or with other volunteers staying at your project, plus shopping trips and social outings. April, August and December are festival months, so be prepared for breaks from your teaching work. i-to-i TEFL training is included.
