Get your TEFL certification and teach English in exotic locations around the world. GVI’s worldwide TEFL courses are run as either a two day (20 hours) or a four week (100 hours) course within the community and conservation programmes and expeditions. Using over 20 years of combined experience in international education GVI has developed these two unique TEFL courses aimed at aiding local communities in learning English and helping them access the profits of tourism in their areas. These specially designed courses teach you how to teach conversational English to indigenous and local populations where literacy levels may not be high. The courses are an excellent way to gain a TEFL qualification and practical experience on some of the world’s most pioneering and crucial community development initiatives. Guidance on language learning theory, teaching strategies, lesson planning and practical classroom experience are all covered. Finally, GVI offers a job placement service to all GVI TEFL graduates, assisting them in finding placements in local communities around the world or paid positions in the TEFL Industry.
