Peak Leaders is a highly respected and well established family business specializing in running 9 to 11 week ski and snowboard instructor courses.
This course will give your C.V. the maximum boost especially if you want to move into the snowsports’ industry. You get top class instruction based at Sunshine - more than 20 hours per week with video sessions and ski school experience.
Your coach focuses on developing your personal skill level and makes sure you are fully prepared for the instructor exams.
Unique to Peak Leaders are certificates in team leading, guiding and an introduction to ski patrolling. Also included, is a certificate in first aid and an avalanche awareness course. Through these modules, technique is built up, park and pipe skills are honed as are skills in steeps, bumps and backcountry. Your all mountain knowledge will expand continuously and your skiing / riding improve beyond recognition – you’ll be tackling terrain you only dreamed of previously. Optional extras include – trip to Kicking Horse, snowmobiling and trip to Calgary for ice hockey.
You have a highly qualified, Peaks' mentor on site with you throughout - their job is to ensure that you get the most from your course through regular meetings with you and your local providers and instructors. Whatever your reasons for coming away with Peak Leaders, be assured that by the end of the course your ski / riding will have improved beyond expectation and you'll have many new skills gained with folks who'll become friends for life.

For those taking a gap year, career break or seeking a change of lifestyle, a 12 week course at Banff will give your C.V. a boost - especially if you want to move into the snowsports' industry. Through top class instruction at Sunshine Village 5 days per week - over 20 hours in total each week, video sessions and ski school experience, you will quickly be in an excellent position to fulfill your dream of becoming a snowsports' instructor.
