Learn to become a Padi Divemaster with Carabao Diving Center in Koh Tao, Thailand. Divemaster training opens the doors to work worldwide as a dive guide, and is the first step to becoming a Padi Instructor. We can arrange programs for new or already certified diver to lean to lead underwater adventures.
Carabao Diving Center is a 5 Star PADI Dive Center in the middle of hundreds of fantastic dive spots. Come and swim with the Whale Shark, or admire the beautiful coral underwater.
Koh Tao has a number of pastimes to offer, most of which revolve around the water. Diving is without a doubt the big industry on the island, with virtually every bungalow able to at least facilities the organising of dive trips. At last count there were 30 separate dive companies on the island and rumour has it that more people now pass their diving certificates on Koh Tao than anywhere else in Thailand, even Phuket! There are a number of dive shops on the island including Koh Tao Divers, Carabao Divers and Big Blue Divers amongst many more.
The water is particularly clear here and there are sheltered spots on one coast or the other most of the year round. The marine life on Koh Tao is varied, but not as varied as the Andaman Coast and the coral is often not as spectacular. What makes Koh Tao's diving popular over nearby Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Samui and the Andaman Sea is the increasingly easy access to the island, reasonably cheap diving along with plenty of accommodation opportunities. For better underwater life get yourself to more spectacular sites such as the Surin, Similan and Tarutao Groups. There is a wreck off Aow Taa Saeng which is popular for diving.
