|
PADI scuba courses from Beginner Dives (Discover Scuba Course) through Assistant Instructor. Our most popular course is Discover Scuba Diving which is an approximate 1/2 hour dry land lesson, practice in the water of basic skill, followed by a 40 minute scuba dive at a max. Depth of 40 feet. The dive is right off the beach on a live reef with an opportunity to hand feed the tropical fish. No experience is needed, thought a medical questionnaire is required. This dive can be used towards Open Water Certification. A Certification course takes 3-4 days to be completed.
The Open Water Course consists of Academics, practice time in shallow water and a total of 4 open water dives. The first open water dive, being the Discover Scuba Dive. We offer two programs, PADI and SDI.
Our site is also an excellent spot for snorkel lessons and guided tours for certified divers.
Reef fish are visible starting in chest deep water.

Since we are located right at a beach our groups can be small and personal. With no practice in a pool, students receive much more realistic training. Our beach is naturally protected so we have very few rough beach days. The water is generally quite calm. We do all training at the beach; we can take our time and not be pressured by a boat schedule. Since we have a shop at the beach, moving and lifting of equipment is kept to a minimum. With the close proximity of our two reefs to the beach no long swim is required and makes even a beginning dive easy, safe but interesting with lots of sea life, even a non swimmer can enjoy the dive.
