Welcome to the magnificent underwater world of Cyprus! With sea temperatures ranging from 16 degrees Celsius in January, 21 in May, 28 in August and 24 in October, Cyprus has become a popular diving location in the Mediterranean Sea. There are no tides or dangerous currents and the waters are crystal clear with visibility reaching 30-40 meters.
On the south east point of Cyprus (Cape Gkreko) you will find some of the island's most popular diving locations, with a variety of caves and reefs ranging from 10 to 40 meters. This is an ideal place for beginners as well as for experienced divers.
The wreck Zenobia, a Swedish ferry that sank in 1979 is another popular dive site. Located 1 mile off the marina in Larnaka with a depth from 18 down to 41 makes it a dive site you want to see more of. The Zenobia wreck is considered to be one of the 10 best in the world! We dive at the Zenobia wreck 2 to 3 times a week.
There is a wide variety of marine life such as, moray eels, bream, grouper, wrasse, red mullet, soldier fish, fan worms and spirographs. You may also come across ancient stone anchors and amphora's dating back to 400 BC, please note that removal of historical objects is forbidden.

Sunfish Divers are located in Agia Napa on the east coast of Cyprus about 45 minutes' drive from Larnaca airport.
Once a sleepy little fishing village, Agia Napa is now bustling holiday resort, famous for its sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. In the center of Agia Napa, by the square, you will find a 16th century Venetian Monastery and the church of the Holy Virgin.
About 10 minutes' drive from Agia Napa past Cape Gkreko lies Protaras / Fig Tree Bay/ another holiday resort.
Paralimni is the nearest local town with a wide variety of modern shops for those who want a break from the beach! Also in Paralimni you can find lots of local taverns away from the buzzing holiday resorts.
The capital of Cyprus is Nicosia; still the only remaining divided capital in the world after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, which divided the island.
Larnaka is the third largest town in Cyprus; about 30 minutes' drive from Agia Napa. You will find plenty of narrow streets in the old part of the town and lots of shopping opportunities. You can visit the old market and do not forget to look into the beautiful St Lazarus church - only a few minutes' walk from the market!
About one and half hours drive from Agia Napa through wine plantations lies the coastal town of Limassol, famous for its wineries and hectic nightlife, Limassol is also the main port.
The town Paphos is situated on the west coast. A jewel about 3 hours' drive from Agia Napa, surrounded by its banana plantations. Paphos is rich in history and this is where Aphrodite is believed to have been born out of the sea.
In the Troodos mountains you will find the tranquility of the village life, in the winter the mountains are covered with a blanket of snow.
