Barakuda Dive Center is Phi Phi Island's biggest, most experienced and best reputed dive operator. "Barakuda" was founded over 25 years ago and we are proud Barakuda have never had in his history any diving accident. We are located in a charming little village called Ton Sai, in the heart of Phi Phi Don. Ton Sai is the only settlement in the Phi Phi National Marine Park. Our center is right in the middle of "main street".
Barakuda Diving Center is an authorized 5 Star PADI Dive Center and runs also an IDC (Instructor Development Center) on Phi Phi Island. Barakuda is a member of PIRA (PADI International Resort Ass.) and is recognized by the Tourist Authority of Thailand.
In other words, Barakuda Diving Center meets PADI's highest standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
We have met these standards through focus on safe diving practices, first aid, safety equipment, trained and reliable staff and environmental awareness. Barakuda is your guarantee for the high quality and safety standards that you expect from PADI professionals all the way.
At the Center you will find a friendly and well assorted front shop/office that is open on two sides.
Right behind the shop are our filling station, maintenance and storage rooms. Adjacent to our shop (not visible in the picture) you will find our classroom and restroom facilities for relaxation before and after diving.
Directly behind the Barakuda Diving Center the photogenic sea-gypsy village sprawls with its bamboo walled huts and tall coconut palms. Twenty meters down the road is the "Bakery", with the best breakfast on the island.
Barakuda Diving Center is situated only a few meters from the waterside. As there is no motorized traffic on the island, this is convenient when having to drag equipment down to the water.
Not that you will have to do it by yourself, mind you. These things are being taken care of by our staff.

Barakuda has more than 25 years of successful experience with dive tours and educational courses. All our crew and staff members are truly professional. Our manager is not only a pencil-pusher, but also a master instructor, instructor trainer and a examiner. Our multilingual instructors are qualified by the worlds two largest diving organizations PADI and CMAS. They have trained some thousand students. We have divemasters from several nations with an excellent knowledge of the local dive-sites and "hot-spots". They are all seasoned and experienced leaders of dive excursions. The maintenance and service on all dive equipment is taken care of by a graduated machine engineer.
