Program description: |
|
|
Located on the beautiful Sarapiqui river, The Sarapiqui Conservation Learning Center is a non-profit center committed to education and conservation in the local community. The Sarapiqui Conservation Learning Center is looking for a volunteer to run the Environmental Education Program. The Environmental Education Coordinator is responsible for leading weekly ecology clubs with students at local schools and at the Center, supporting the community in conservation projects, helping community members build on their ecotourism projects, and assist documenting site specific environmental education curriculums and activities.
Applicants need at least an intermediate level of Spanish and must be able to commit to six months to one year.

Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience working with youth
