Program description: |
GAP's outdoor placements are in a number of locations, including outward bound centres, camps, community projects and YMCA/YWCA education centres. If you love nature and physical pursuits, you are particularly encouraged to investigate these.
Outdoor education in the USA and Canada has a strong element of teaching as well as allowing you the opportunity to undertake a number of roles on camps - taking sports groups, adventure activities or providing pastoral care. The nature of the camps is that they are educational and fun, enabling you to get involved in a wide variety of ways.
