Our rugby projects give you the chance to organise coaching sessions, training drills and matches for local children who are keen to play and develop in a game that is loved on all continents. Although the emphasis is on fun, you are sure to discover hidden talent that can be advanced through your hard work and knowledge of the game.
South Africans are extremely passionate about Rugby, renowned for being a very tough and technical force on the international stage. However, whilst rugby is a passion for many, very few get to play and develop in a well-structured environment. The irony is that many of the most promising players, often living in and around Port Elizabeth's townships, are left undiscovered and their talents undeveloped.
You will also have the opportunity to play the sport with volunteers and local rugby teams, a fantastic cultural exchange!
