|
Starfish Ventures has been providing volunteers and financial support over two years. Our efforts have provided a water system for the home, a toilet and shower block, refurbishment of other buildings and much more. But there is still so much to do. Here is a list of jobs we would like to undertake in 2007:
Improve the drainage of the football field.
Build a strong bridge over the river at the rice fields.
Improve the sanitarium to make it more comfortable for future volunteers to live in.
Buy a new truck for the school.
Improve the small children's play area.
Make benches around the football pitch with shade.
Make a garage for storing the schools tractor.
Improve the roadway that leads up to the school. It is very steep and bumpy, so everyone cycles over the fields, which makes becomes a mud pit on the raining season.
