Valle Escondido Mountain Hotel & Two Wonderful Middle Pacific Beaches. Day 1: Departure to Valle Escondido Mountain Hotel. This beautiful hotel is located in the middle of the mountains of Alajuela province. Lunch at hotel (you can choose from 3 different menu options). After lunch participants will have an activity at hotel surroundings, such as hiking or the orchids tour. ($40 extra, will allow you to have an adventure activity such as horse back riding, canyoning, canopying, etc.). Dinner at night and some other activities in the hotel like playing pool or just relaxing in the hot Jacuzzi out of the hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast at Valle Escondido Mountain Hotel and departure to San José, where you can eat lunch at a small restaurant Costa Rican style and then get ready to go to Tárcoles a totally undiscovered beautiful beach. You will arrive in the evening and later eat dinner at Doña Miriam’s House. You will spend the night at Doña Miriam’s Cabins.
Day 3: Costa Rican breakfast at Tárcoles and then we will take a river tour (to see crocodiles in their own environment and the Incredible Crocodile Man Show, a man who interacts with the crocodiles. He will feed them to let you see and know about their behavior, and you can take amazing pictures (just imagine more than 25 crocodiles per square kilometer!). After that you can go to enjoy the beach, then eat lunch Tárcoles Style at Doña Miriam’s house about 2 p.m.
During the evening you can sit down near the beach to see two wonderful spectacles at the same time, the astonishing Pacific sunset and the largest red macaw population in Costa Rica, where you will find about 35 of these beautiful birds in the same tree. You can also take a walking tour to a beautiful waterfall near Tárcoles center.
After that you will have some free time. About 7 p.m. you will eat dinner Tárcoles style again, and prepare for the FIESTA, where you can dance and sing with the karaoke music.
Day 4: About 9 a.m. we will take a 20 minutes bus trip to Jacó Beach, where you can swim, sunbathe, see the surfers or surf, or just take a walk around the community. We will eat lunch in a small restaurant and at 5 p.m. get ready to see the sunset and return to San José.
At night, we will go to San Isidro de Heredia, our host community, and enjoy a charming good bye party and Certificates Ceremony at Amistad Institute.
Departure point is Juan Santa Maria International Airport, Costa Rica. No Spanish is required for this mini-adventure program.
