Program description:

Maseru Save the Children is a place of saftey for young children who are abandoned or removed from their families. The aim is to reunite the children with their immeadiate family or to find a foster home for them. The project consists of sleeping accommodation for the children and a creche. The home is poorly funded so facilities are basic but adequate. Volunteers have an active role in caring for the children: they teach at the creche, help the older children with their school work and look after the emotional and physical needs of hte children.
