Program description: |
|
|
The volunteers assist with English conversation teaching at secondary schools in Japan. In addition to classroom teaching the volunteers give lessons to teachers, parents, the local community and at the primary school. The real Japan is quite different from that protrayed by the media and this is the ideal chance to see what Japan is like and get under the skin of Japanese culture.

Benefits and advantages of the program: |

|
All our volunteers attend a selection course, a training course and once they have returned from their year overseas, a debriefing course on the Isle of Coll. Project Trust is a small charity that sends roughly 200 volunteers to around 25 different countries every year. In the last 25 years we have sent over 4,000 volunteers overseas, with this experience we have biult up a large support network in both the UK and throughout the world.

To volunteer with Project Trust costs £3,950 we expect our volunteers to fundraise this money during the year before they go overseas.
